General Dentistry
Your smile is the gateway to the health of the rest of your body. As such, we believe preventive dentistry is essential for stopping potentially serious issues from wreaking havoc on your oral and overall health. At Smile Design Centre, we offer a full spectrum of comfortable general dentistry in Hagerstown, MD to patients of all ages. Every new patient receives a comprehensive exam to assess their dental health and its intrinsic connection to their whole body health. From routine cleanings every six months and oral cancer screenings to filling cavities and emergency dental care, we strive to keep your teeth and mouth healthy.

Implant Dentistry
As the next best thing to natural teeth, dental implants in Hagerstown, MD are the number one solution for replacing damaged or missing teeth. They consist of a titanium post surgically placed in your jawbone, a healing abutment, and a zirconia crown. By assuming the role of the missing tooth root, a dental implant prevents further bone deterioration and undesirable changes to your facial structure, while stimulating new bone growth. Dental implants are an equally effective solution if you’re missing one tooth, or many teeth, or are completely edentulous (toothless).

Sleep Apnea
Sleep apnea is a potentially serious sleep disorder in which breathing cessation episodes occur multiple times while a person is asleep. Although there are three types of sleep apnea, obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is by far the most common type. In addition to a free screening, we may recommend a device you wear while asleep to confirm the diagnosis. We treat OSA with a custom-made oral appliance that fits over your teeth like an orthodontic retainer. We also offer neuromuscular dentistry and Vivos®, a newer FDA-approved solution for treating sleep apnea that corrects misaligned craniofacial anatomy in a safe and non-invasive way.
