Thank you to everyone that submitted a photo for our photo contest, and special thanks go out to the judges for lending their artistic eye. Jamie Turner with Turner Photography Studio, Melanie Anderson with Anderson Photographs, and Justin Bean from Aesthetic Life Studios. This years contest was full of talent, many of the entries from students at the Barbra Ingram School for the Arts so Mark Youngblood, being their instructor, gracefully bowed out of this years panel of judges.
Congratulations to Ty Fitchet (“Broken Idea”), Lauren Barnhart (“The Grand Prismatic”) and Chris Lombardi Sr. (“Magic of the Reef”) for their winning photos which remain on display in the office this year for all to enjoy. Feel free to stop by and check out the winners!
We are excited to say that many of the submitted photos have been donated and are now open for bidding in office and on our facebook page www.facebook.com/smiledesigncentrehagerstown ! Proceeds will benefit Breast Cancer Awareness — Cumberland Valley again this year. The silent auction kicks off a month of fundraising for BCA–CV. Our silent auction will come to a close on July 28th following the ‘Smile for the Cure’ which this year will be a car wash and bake sale.
Again thank you everyone for making this a successful, fun contest and for all of the donations that will benefit BCA–CV.
Breast Cancer Awareness–Cumberland Valley, Inc. is an organization composed of breast cancer survivors and individuals concerned about this disease. We know the anxiety and questions a diagnosis of breast cancer can cause, and we are here to help, to share our experience and knowledge. Some of the most valuable information and emotional support comes from those who have faced the same experience.
