The thought of going to the dentist had always been one that I would try to put out of my mind; however, my teeth were in such bad shape that I needed to get immediate attention.

I asked a friend who her dentist was and she recommended Dr. McAllister. She assured me he was gentle, efficient and thorough.

I made my first appointment with Dr. McAllister and, upon arrival, told his staff how nervous I get at the dentist's office.

I have had "problem teeth" all of my childhood and adult life and have been to several different dentists. Never have I felt so at ease, nor have I been more thoroughly satisfied with any other doctor.

His staff is professional, yet personable. They work around my schedule for appointments. Dr. McAllister has a true concern for his patients and a wonderful "chairside" manner. He and his staff are an asset to our community. Their efficiency is unsurpassed.

Prior to coming to Dr. McAllister it had been several years since I had been to a dentist. I had a morbid fear of them. On my first visit he and his dental assistant both made me feel very comfortable. They put my mind at ease.

I remember that on one visit he told me he was going to have to pull one of my teeth. You can imagine the thoughts that were going through my mind. I finally calmed myself down and told him I was ready. He said ready for what? I said to remove my tooth. He said it's already done. I didn't feel a thing!

I have had several visits to the office and have found everyone there to be very friendly and understanding. If all Dentists were as painless and understanding as Dr. McAllister, I would have been going long ago.

You have indeed become friends. Your unfailing concern for my well being over the past few years goes far beyond what one would expect from a busy and very professional practice.

The quality of your service has always been outstanding. Charlene greets me by name with a warm smile. I know then that I am in good hands.

I am usually there for my twice yearly cleaning and check up. Heather polishes my teeth and sees that I leave with a smile.

I especially appreciate Doctor Paul's skill when I need more than just a cleaning. Replacing fifty year old fillings, a root canal or even a crown are just part of his exceptional skills. I have never been sent out to see a specialist. I have also never had a tooth pulled as he has always saved the tooth in trouble.

My most heartfelt thanks is for taking care of my family. Doctor Paul is the only dentist that has not terrified my wife. She never felt pain or discomfort in his chair. He is always gentle and patient.

There was also a bonus for which there was no charge. My daughter quit sucking her thumb after the good doctor counseled her in a friendly and professional manner.

At 43, I’m certain many people my age can relate to at least (1) bad experience with a dentist.  Even knowing the longer you put the dentist off the more attention your teeth will need; fear, is a common factor as to why some people choose not to see the dentist as recommended.  Speaking from experience myself, I literally dreaded upcoming Dentist appointments.  The longer I hesitated, the more attention my teeth would need in treating them properly, not to mention costly.  Like many others, I could have saved myself time and money.

Most people would agree that the first impression is the one that counts the most. My experience at Smile Design Centre was wonderful.  The name is an excellent choice as it suits the establishment well.  If only I had the privilege to experience an environment such as this at a young age, I’m certain my fear would have passed.  The personal attention as well as the kindness from the staff made a very relaxing atmosphere.  I can honestly say that now I look forward to seeing Dr. McAllister on a regular basis.  He is people friendly and very thorough in professionally treating his patients with proper care and attention.  My smile will only improve for the better thanks to Smile Design Centre!

Recently I had a new denture made at The Smile Design Centre in Hagerstown, MD.

I am very well pleased with them, and they fit perfectly!  Dr. Seese and the staff are very professional and kind.  The centre is beautiful and very comfortable.

I would recommend anyone who needs dental work to give them a call.

I moved to PA in 2001 and after searching 6 years for a good dentist, I was about to give up.  Luckily I was in conversation with my nephew when his discovery brought me to a new light…Smile Design Centre!!!

My nephew, who works for a dental equipment company, happened to be calling on Dr. McAllister and told me what a great and up-scale office he had.  He highly recommended him to me.

My first visit was awesome…and I DO NOT like going to the dentist!!!  Kateigh, the dental hygienist, was extremely courteous; she even called me “MISS” before my first name, which I found very polite coming from the South.  Was I pleased with my examination and cleaning process?  Yes!!! And while they were in the process of the exam I was pampered with a moisturizing paraffin hand treatment and a warm cloth treatment that was put around the back of my neck.  It was so relaxing that I almost fell asleep.

If anyone hasn’t experienced the wonderful treatment you receive at the Smile Design Centre, you need to!  Great Doctor, Great Dental Hygienist, and State of the Art Equipment!!!  Oops, I forgot, they have TVs for you to watch your favorite program too.  What more can you ask for???
