Our Staff

Office Manager //
Billie has been a dental assistant for 9 years, and has spent the last 8 working at the Smile Design Centre. Billie is enjoying her new role with the business team, and is focused on helping patients have a positive dental experience. Billie and her husband Chris take pleasure in spending family time with their 6 year old daughter and infant son.

Financial Coordinator //
Kasey is 2004 Clear Spring High School Graduate who's enjoying her recent career change to our dental business team. Kasey's 4 years as an office manager for an optometry group gave her the skills in insurance and financial planning that makes her valuable to our patients. Kasey is having a ball watching her 1 1/2 year old son Gavin grow; they enjoy time spent outdoors and look forward to summer.

Greeter/Patient Transport //
Scott joined our team last year and has won the hearts of every patient he has greeted or transported to an appointment during his time with us. Scott is the first friendly face you will see when you enter the office, and many of our area natives recognize him right away from his 35 years of service at Hagerstown Trust Co. In his spare time, Scott enjoys spending time with his lovely wife Debbie, their 2 kids and 3 grandkids. Scott is also currently an active member of Hagerstown's First Christian Church.

Dental Hygienist //
Taryn is one of the dental hygienists on our team. A 2006 graduate from Allegany College of Maryland, Taryn is enthusiastic about her profession and deeply cares about her patients' dental health. A friendly and caring person by nature, she strives to make your visits stress-free and relaxing. When she's not working, Taryn and her husband Shannon treasure their role as new parents to their one year old son.

Dental Hygienist //
Abby graduated from Allegany College of Maryland in 2009 and is excited to now join the Smile Design Team. Abby is passionate about her occupation and genuinely cares for her patients and their oral health. This zealous approach to her profession coupled with a sweet and compassionate personality will assure you'll feel relaxed and at ease in her care, as well as educated about your oral health. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dog.

Dental Assistant //
Rhonda has been a dental assistant since 2006 and has been with our team since July 2009. She is passionate about dentistry and is furthering her studies with hopes to soon become a dentist. She enjoys meeting new people and helping to put a smile on each patient's face. She is a caring person with a warm, welcoming personality. When not at work or studying, she likes to spend her time with her husband, family, and friends.

Dental Assistant //
Mandie changed her career from the field of photography by training at HCC as a qualified general and orthodontic assistant; accomplishing her goal to serve others. Being attentive to the patients needs is something that Mandie takes very seriously. Her goal is to help every patient rid their anxiety of dentistry and see it in a more positive way; making people smile makes her feel accomplished. In Mandie's spare time she enjoys shooting portrait and wedding photography, as well as skating as a Mason Dixon Roller Vixen. Spending time with people she loves is very important part of who she is.
